Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Essentials or Certification Courses

Be ready to help when it matters most.
Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognized training program developed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada. This course equips you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognize the signs of mental health challenges, offer initial support, and guide someone toward appropriate professional help.
We offer both MHFA Essentials and MHFA Certification training. MHFA Essentials is a six-hour introductory course that equips participants with practical mental health support skills. MHFA Certification is a comprehensive twelve-hour program that combines self-paced online learning with instructor-led training and leads to certification through the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Training is available in virtual and in-person formats.
Whether you are a workplace or community leader, volunteer, or caring family member, this training will prepare you to:
